Physical activity in the modern era has now been widely integrated as one of the crucial strategies for maintaining the mental health of urban communities in Indonesia. One form of exercise that is currently in high demand is mind-body-based Pilates, which is experiencing rapid development and is highly popular in Jambi City, involving 111 active participants across three main studios. This study aims to examine and analyze the relationship between sleep quality and psychological well-being in individuals who routinely participate in Pilates training in Jambi City. Using a correlational quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, this study involved 110 productive-age respondents (18–50 years old) selected through a purposive sampling technique at the three main Pilates studios. Data measurement instruments included the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and the short version of Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale, consisting of 18 items. Descriptive analysis showed that the majority of respondents had sleep quality in the good category (74.5%) and psychological well-being in the moderate category (72.7%). Statistical analysis using the Spearman’s Rho correlation test revealed a correlation coefficient value of -0.389. This empirical finding proves a significant negative relationship in the weak category, meaning that lower levels of nighttime sleep disturbance are associated with increased levels of respondents' psychological well-being. Consequently, the results of this study suggest that fitness studio managers should implement a more humanistic, supportive, and psychoeducation-based service approach to comprehensively support members' mental health stability and recovery.
